I was born and raised near Denver, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder. My golden thread is education, but I have many other interests and talents. Glancing at my life you will see that I am not only a seasoned educator, but also a multi-platinum Nashville recording artist, a national award-winning author and publisher, an experienced PATH International certified riding instructor, a successful entrepreneur, and an Arvada West High School Hall of Fame Inductee.
